Fulica Records is proud to announce the release of B Natural – Enrico Scerra Plays The Music Of Duck Baker. This is the second in a series of recordings by guitarists of Duck Baker compositions, the first being Steve Hicks’ The Oak And The Willow. None of the 14 tunes heard on B Natural have been recorded by Baker or anyone else. Enrico Scerra is one of the very best fingerstyle guitarists in Italy. He has been playing guitar for all but five of his 35 years, and while he has paid close attention to such fingerstyle masters as Woody Mann, Duck Baker, Tony McManus, and Franco Morone, Enrico also studied jazz guitar with Colombo Menniti for several years. The harmonic sophistication that Enrico gained from this study is one of the things that sets him apart. We are very excited to present this brilliant young player who is still relatively unknown outside of Italy, and 14 Duck Baker tunes that have not been heard on record before.
B Natural – Enrico Scerra Plays The Music Of Duck Baker is available on CD or as digital downloads, and there is a music/tablature PDF available, either separately or with the record, in either format. It should be noted that the music book contains Duck Baker’s original transcriptions, but not Mr. Scerra’s added variations.
